After doing a bunch of paperwork on Thursday - I sat and watched the first Semi Final of the Junior Hockey, between the USA and Sweden. - It was pretty slow for the first period with no goals, but by the 3rd, the Swedes had opened up a 4-0 lead, and in spite of a number of penalties - they went on to take the win 4-2.
Later it was Canada versus the Czechs, and while the Czech team came out strong and did in fact score the first goal - it was all Canada after that with a final score of 8-2 - Now it’s on to the Gold medal round against Sweden

The weather forecast is for warmer but with freezing rain - so the roads will probably be a mess - drive carefully children !! - The Ice race at Stake Lake near Kamloops is cancelled because of poor ice conditions. - Just took the recycling boxes out & I see we had about 3″ of fresh snow to add to the fun.!

Finally saw something on the Calgary bike show this weekend - The poster explains who they are - but with the new restrictions proposed by the Alberta Government - all Off road riding on Crown land in Alberta, is threatened - It appears they only listen to Environmentalist groups ( including US based big money supporters) - As I’ve said on this blog before - the lack of interest and lobbying support by the factories, is mind boggling - they will only wake up when sales of both ATV’s and Off road bikes hit the bottom.

The second round of the Super Enduro Indoor Series takes place tomorrow night in Germany - Cody Webb will be there, as will Taddy and all the other hot-shots - The 2018 Motorcycle season starts this weekend.

And here is your Trials video for today - it shows the late great Diego Bosis at a World round - The Trials world was shocked when Diego died of a heart attack at age 41 - he was one of the best.
