The FIM World Round in Japan is now in the History books, and will show that Toni Bou set yet another incredible record, cleaning all two loops on Day #2. - Held at the Honda owned land - the sections consisted of man made obstacles  on the steep hillsides surrounding the Road Race circuit.

- While you have to wonder about the dumb “No stop” rules, there is no taking away from the sheer brilliance of Bou, and all the other riders, - ( If the rules were applied correctly, most riders including Bou, would have “Fived” every single section)
The weekend saw Adam Raga chalk up two second places, but perhaps one of the best performances was by James Dabill, who just missed out on the podium both days, with two 4th places. Here is a pic of Dibs with the Beta Japan crew.   Once again Emma Bristow was the class of the Ladies entry, winning both days, but a lot of other riders did well in both the slippery conditions on Saturday, and the man made obstacles.

Sunday, I spent the day at home with Momma Bear  - watched the F1 Canadian Grand Prix from Montreal, which was a good race, spoiled by the Stewards, who elected to give race long leader Sebastian Vettel a 5 second Penalty, allowing the 2nd man over the line Lewis Hamilton to take the win. -

Another display of Officials putting a damper on what was otherwise a good event. How this will effect the 2020 Grand Prix attendance is anybody’s guess, but there were certainly a lot of disappointed fans,  Who booed the result. - I thought both Vettel and Hamilton handled the situation very Professionally, but Ferrari were likely chewing on nails.

While Officials and rules are needed in all sports, how these are enforced can mean the difference between some people continuing, or saying to Hell with it.  - Yes it happens a lot in Motorcycling as well, especially when the FIM are involved.

We still have lots of good deals going on both Beta and TRS - give us a call.
