While I often get comments about the fact that I’m still riding bikes at age 82 - this is nothing compared to the great Sammy Miller, who was racing this Gilera 500cc 4 cylinder at a Hill climb last week at age 86 !!!!! Sammy was a World Class road racer, before deciding to concentrate on Trials. He won the British Championship a total of 11 times, and is credited for changing the sport for ever, back in 1965, when he went to work & ride for Bultaco.
Here are the plaques for the winners of the 2019 Outlaw Series - We will have these at the Brown Memorial on October 5-6 - Once again the Series proved to be very successful, with good support for all 4 events. - A big thanks to the organizers. Note: There was a tie in the Expert Class, so as has been the Outlaw Tradition, we awarded both Steve and Pierce #1 plates.
This is what Harry McKay is teaching his young lad, while Mum is on Holiday in France with the girls !!! Look at that expression !!! Priceless.

Here is a J Greening pic of World MX Champion Jeff Smith on a Can Am at the 1975 ISDT ( Called Trial back then) They are going around Governers Bridge on the TT course during the Speed Trials which were held back then. - Smith worked for Bombardier and raced at Moose Mountain AB in 1976. The Can Am’s were very fast, but a bit “Twitchy” and had crap Bosch ignitions.
