Another pioneer USA Trials guy has gone – Bob Nickelsen who headed up the Honda USA Trials effort through the 70’s and who hired top riders, like Marland Whaley etc – He was at that first World Round we hosted near Bragg Creek in 1975, but I can’t remember if I met him- ( I was a pretty busy guy that weekend)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the ISDE is over for another year, there are still some great videos on You tube – a recent one we watched showed Team Australia who have really come long way with regards to the support they now have – back in the day, they used to combine checks with the Canadian Teams – always underfunded with both riders and support crew paying most of their own ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So hear we are entering what I think is the very best time of the year for riding in the woods !! with cooler temperatures and the leaves turning color it’s fantastic.
