Answer to the last quiz – A young Mick Andrews on the factory AJS – this was arranged for him by Ralf Venables, who was friends with the Factory Competition Manager. – I got the full story from Mick’s Dad back in 1972, when we were staying at the Grand Hotel in Fort William for the Scottish – We had some great chats while sharing a dinner table with Tom Andrews and his buddy. -It wasn’t until two years later that I got to meet Mick, when He was on Yamaha, and I put on a Trials demo in Calgary. – However my complete center page coverage of that 1972 Scottish was printed in the US Dirt Bike Magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we head into the first weekend of September – it’s a “Biggie” for Trials fans in the UK, as they will be hosting a FIM world Round – It will take place at a new location, and with new organizers .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
