Good morning Trials fans – another Friday and perhaps many of you will be looking forward to a weekend riding ? – Still no snow in the forecast although the weather gurus in Revelstoke are saying it will be a heavy snow winter ( Perhaps they are in the Ski or sled business?) – We already have our Opti Snowmobile oil on order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Answer to the last quiz – Don Smith with his homebuilt “Stag” at the Scottish – story had it that Smith was trying to get a better deal from one of the Trials bike factories so showed up with this one!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quiz today. Guess who? – Seems like a strange choice of words with Bultaco being their main competitor!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We saw quite a lot of posts about Sammy’s 92nd birthday and lots of pics – but here are a couple I really like – the top one shows him on that first Bultaco Sherpa.T the bike that changed the sport of Trials forever and a time when we acted as his Canadian dealer listed in his Trials spares catalogue. – The bottom pic was taken of him riding GOV 132 – the 500cc Ariel that he won so many events on. – The section looks like Laggan Locks, in Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s Philippe Berlatier’s birthday today a former World Class rider, perhaps famous for his fight with the big German Observer back in the day ( all caught on VHS) – Here he is with good friend Jordi and he is of course the TRS Importer for France – He also still rides Classic Trials ( A champion in that class on a Bultaco)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
