Answer to the last quiz – Dave Thorpe at our FIM Trial in 1975 – another pic by Harlow Rankin – but surprisingly Pete Varey got it first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thorpe was always a top contender in world trials, but perhaps more famous for winning the Pre 65 Scottish a total of 5 times – his son Dan, has carried on the winning tradition and has been a Shirty sponsored Gas Gas rider for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a pic I took of Gord Lalonde back in 1999 after I delivered him his new “Bultaco” – he had a lot of sections in the backyard. – Gord moved to Australia many years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who remembers the Ellgren Trials clothing ? It was promoted by 3 time World Champ Eddie Lejeune, but we sold it also back before Anson and Wulf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
