In other news – not surprisingly, Albert Cabestany is now out of a job after the Gas Gas\/KTM fiasco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Albert Cabestany announces his departure from GasGas after several years as Team Manager of the team in the World and Spanish Trial Championships, closing a chapter marked by sporting and human commitmen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we have heard from a few people after we posted the 2026 Beta UK prices – some busy with their calculator!!!!! – Yes all the bikes are going to be expensive next year, and I suspect a bit tight on supply – and while for some who can afford it, there is no substitute for picking up the latest model. – Others might be equally happy with either a non-current or even a used bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pros and cons of buying are really up to the individual, and (a) What they can afford and (b) at what level are they planning to ride?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have often stressed the fact, that buying from a “TRIALS” dealer – can make a huge difference in how you enjoy your new bike – because these people are usually involved in the sport, they can offer the best support plus the best back up for when you need help both with bike set-up and spare parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obviously in this day and age – there are a lot of keyboard warriors out there, posting stuff that is total bull, so our advice is always do your research before putting down your hard earned cash. – Don’t forget that a low ball used bike posted with a nice pic – might be totally different when you get to see it. – and often the money difference between that and a new bike, is quickly made up by parts that are required to make it good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
