Another very mild weekend in the weather picture for us in the Valley – always nice but a bit of a worry for the Summer Fire season – Peter from OZ posted to say Fires are a big issue at the moment in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Condolences to John Whitby as we just saw that his wife Olive passed away. – John and Olive were a big part of the Calgary Motorcycle Club scene back in the day – daughter Janet still lives in Alberta and is involved with the vintage motorcycle club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a good shot of Joe Baker on the new Beta Sincro – He picked the bike up on Thursday – won on Sunday. Joe has been around for a long time in UK Trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This reminded me of another story – I took a YZ 125 in trade on a Thursday back in 1985 – then won on it, at my last ever Cross Country race on the Sunday – The Danny Amor Memorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
