Well ! Here we are at another “Family Day” so I hope all our bloggers enjoy the day doing whatever makes them happy!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Answer to the last quiz ( An easy one) was Mick Andrews, he was originally signed by Ossa as a “Scrambler” before showing his true genius on a Trials bike!! – All our regular readers got that one – of course having his name on his jersey helped!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday was spent at home – it was a gorgeous day – (I had nobody to ride with) – So I watched more of the winter Olympics which really are fantastic, even though I have never participated in any of the winter sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clicking onto You Tube, I noticed another podcast from Telford, this time with special guest John Moffat – A man well known for his Trials Guru web site, but also for his long association with the Scottish Six Days. – Now I really wanted to hear what John had to say, but once again having the third person involved continually interrupting the conversation, -(Yes that guy in the middle) John had a hard time getting his stories across, but to his credit he did well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As most of our readers know – I have one of those Trials Guru caps the first of three in Canada. – John was kind enough to print my story on his site, which you can scroll to if interested. – John also has one of my Outlaw Toolbelts, which he bought a few years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We came across this old memory – showing Kevin Couves taking the short cut from one of Barry Van As obstacles in Kelowna. – We had this all set up (and taken down) at East Kelowna – now known as near Crawford Estates. – We held a lot of really good Trials events there, including at least one National, then the Mountain Bikers took it over, before it got made into a Park, and Motorcycles were banned !! After that it burned down in the big Kelowna fire. ( I always thought that as poetic justice) Kevin doesn’t ride Trials anymore and lives in Kamloops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is one of the Trophies presented at the Lewisport Trial stateside – some familiar names on that. – We hope to see some pics posted later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As mentioned earlier – young Christian Zanders is in Spain attending one of Adam Raga’s Trials schools – He has sent us some video which show him doing well and having fun. – Nice to see him also wearing the TDN shirt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
