Answer to the last quiz -A young Arthur Lampkin – our usual bloggers all got this. – Sadly we just saw that Arthur died yesterday after a battle with Cancer. he was 87.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a good Photo of Arthur (on the left) with Jeff Smith, -Johnny Draper and Brian Martin. – A time when BSA were the bikes to have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we have a Fantic photo on the quiz – I thought I would post this one from many years ago – It shows a group at the top of the Shale Climb in Summerland. The bike belonged to Steve Fracy and I later bought this, it was the bike I rode my last competition on at the Outlaw event in Stony Plain -on my 70th birthday – then sold it – bought it back – then resold it to Walter Cukavac the present owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in the years when we looked after the Outlaw event – we held the Vintage on the Saturday, then the modern on Sunday. – We always had the Shale climb as the last section and I would go up there early in the morning to stash a case of beer for the riders to celebrate when they finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the pic we have Peter Brown (rip) Don Doerksen – Brett Clark-Krash Crumley – Steve Fracy – Chris Tronnes and a young Matt Fracy in front. – Good times for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is another “Blast from the Past” – It shows Myles Manna at the first Trial we put on at Bear Creek – Myles just got back into Trials on a TRS which he now rides on Vancouver Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Toronto Motorcycle show is on this weekend – but we have not seen any pics !! Emily will be there with the Mojo Mag booth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Birthday Greetings today to our Grand daughter Hannah, who is in Bali at the moment – at age 28 she has become quite the world traveler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
