{"id":13938,"date":"2026-04-11T05:57:26","date_gmt":"2026-04-11T12:57:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/?p=13938"},"modified":"2026-04-11T06:25:33","modified_gmt":"2026-04-11T13:25:33","slug":"saturday-april-11th-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/2026\/04\/11\/saturday-april-11th-26\/","title":{"rendered":"Saturday April 11th\/26"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Today we will post our impressions of the all new Beta Trials bike &#8211; yes the Sincro really is All new , and it&#8217;s a beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"511\" src=\"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_4277.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13940\" srcset=\"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_4277.jpg 600w, https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_4277-300x256.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After uncrating the new bike, we spent some time checking out the different aspects over the long established Evo model &#8211; the frame, engine in fact it appears only the handlebars, wheels and a few other things might be the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bike feels light and lists at 68kg for the 200 which we have &#8211; and also is quite &#8220;Slim&#8221; &#8211; After checking it over and firing it up, we couldn&#8217;t wait to head over to our favorite spot to test ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bike feels different to the Evo &#8211; which is to be expected, but we noticed how slick the tranny 6 speed worked &#8211; in fact at times we were not sure which gear we were in, the 200 engine pulls so strong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We did our usual loop on the Westside and the bike ran flawlessly  &#8211;   ( as it should)  &#8211; very smooth but with lots of zap when you need it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We let buddy Gerry try the bike and as a rank newbie to the Trials world he found it very easy to control at low speed figure eights and balance technique &#8211; the new clutch works just fine &#8211; in fact  this is listed as a diaphragm clutch but only the springs are really this design  the clutch plates appear to be the same style as the Evo &#8211; but we did not notice any stickiness from cold. &#8211; the pull on the clutch lever very easy one finger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We liked the attention to detail such as the new rad cover very easy to pop out &#8211; and the new airbox is a huge improvement and should be a real hit with riders at the Scottish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As our bloggers know we have been riding the 200 Beta Evo model from the very first time it was introduced using the bottom end from the 125 &#8211;  then the big leap fitting the 250 bottom end and the 28mm PWK carb as used on most models these days. &#8211; I think it&#8217;s safe to say we have sold more 200&#8217;s than any other dealer -in Canada &#8211;  they really are that good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suffice to say that this new Beta is a real winner and while I still think the Evo is hard to beat if you are a Beta fan &#8211; if you get a chance to test ride the all new Sincro &#8211; I have no doubt you will be impressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And finally we do have an estart kit coming for this bike, because now it&#8217;s a right side kick &#8211; for me having a very bad right knee, it is a problem.
