We did not post a quiz question yesterday – but the answer to the previous one was Johnny Draper and his sister married the late Jeff Smith – a few of our regular bloggers got that one. – Sadly we have lost Harlow who was always in quickly with the answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well ! We did the right thing by going for a ride on Friday when the weather was just perfect – as we now have showers for the next few days. Not that riding in the rain bothers me or anybody else coming from the UK !!! – riding muddy events in the rain was normal back when we were young. – and still is especially if you enter the Scottish Six Day Trial. – Back then everybody wore rain proof riding gear – looking quite drab compared to when you see all the latest bright colors today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now we are older and wiser we might just stay home and watch the Masters Golf on the box!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is the starting order for the Golf today. – It has often been said that Trials, like Golf, is a thinking man’s ( or woman’s) sport – Did you know that Martin Lampkin wanted Dougie to take up golf rather than trials?? – One thing for sure there is a lot more money in golf than Trials. ( only top riders like Bou make any big money)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We just got the latest issue of the Mojo Mag – which features a couple of good articles by Emily – not Trials but some really good stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is shot of Lawrence from BVM at the Lomax Cup Trial last weekend in Wales – looks like he is on a new Beta Sincro 200 – he might have won the best “Beard” award ????? ( Just kidding but check out the You tube video)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
