Answer to the last quiz – Scottish Six Day Trial is restricted to 280 riders because they start each day at 1 minute intervals and that is the most riders that are able to complete the long loops each day – all 100 miles plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Trial started originally at the market place in Edinburgh the riders rode approx 115 miles that first day on the road and also across Rannoch moor. to Fort William. – Brett Clark was the only correct response. – In 1973 Martin Lampkin seized up the factory 325 Bultaco by overdoing it on the road and was done first day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funny to say that I had never been to Scotland – until I went back from Canada – did it in 1972-1989 -1993. – Wonderful memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quiz today. Who is this rider – great at trials and scrambles. – sadly killed in a traffic accident while competing in a Trial – he was run over by a car while waiting at the roadside to enter a section in south Wales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last of the Indoor Xtrial events, goes this weekend in Spain – This will be Busto’s first outing on the Beta, so although I have little time for all these circus events- it will be interesting to see how he does on the new Sincro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
