&#8211; the big British singles were the most popular &#8211; but soon the lightweight villiers powered two strokes came on the scene &#8211; the DOT was perhaps the one to beat, as the Earles type front forks were great for this type of rough terrain. &#8211; we nearly bought one in the mid 50&#8217;s, but as we rode mostly trials, we found the heavy steering not the best for tight stuff, and stayed with the James. &#8211; Can you imagine having about 4&#8243;
