The weather seems to have held up pretty good for the Pre 65 Scottish ( Did you know that it was Sammy Miller who had the idea to start this event ?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have seen some brilliant riding on the old bikes – including some rigid rear frame models, no video of Harry that we have noticed – but here is a pic of “The lad” He finished a very good 38th out of 176 finishers – he lost all his 18 points on the first day .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the winner is!!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is the podium – the second place finisher who also went “zero” for the two days – was Tom Sagar – the tiebreak is I think age. – Tom is a member of my old club in the UK – I used to ride with his Grandad ! -( The guy standing at the back on the left – is Yrjo Vesterinen 3 time World Trials champ and winner of that 1975 event we plotted in Alberta)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incredible to think you go clean for two tough days on an old bike and still only get 2nd!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today they have the big parade in Fort William when all the riders put-put down main street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
