This pic got posted on FB – and shows our old friend Darryl Copithorne who now lives in OZ – Darryl was involved with the Alberta Trials scene back in the day, and helped put on the FIM trial in 1978 or 79. – He bought the Beta Evo 200 after getting in touch with us a few years ago, but has also had TRS and other Dual purpose bikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had an email from John Whitby junior yesterday – telling us he was visiting his Dad on Vancouver island – John Senior is 92 now, but was very involved with the Calgary club in the 1970’s and took a lot of the trials pics we post here from that era, including this one from a 1970 Trial in Lethbridge. left to right – John Jenson, Outlaw Dave, Terry Porter, Ron Harvey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
