The Motorcycle Mojo booth at the Edmonton bike show – Emily looking a bit tired and no wonder , – I know only too well what it takes to do shows from one end of the Country to the other !!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately a lot of people are posting that these shows are disappointing and a waste of money – I recall back in my Yamaha days, one of the organizers stopped by to chat, asked what I thought of the show -after all we had been doing this “same old” stuff for a lot of years. – I told him that they needed to put some special reason for attracting visitors – not “Same old-same old” – – I know that Yamaha listened at least, and brought Bob Hannah and Broc Glover to the next one – that was popular. – As I see it, there has to be a a good reason for spending money to walk around especially when these days, most new models are already on the dealers floor early the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ===========================================<\/p>\n\n\n\n And here is the bike that ended the British bike dominance in Trials – Sammy Miller’s 1965 Bultaco Sherpa T ( remember the radial cylinder head?)
