Mornin’ Outlaw bloggers – We hope that you are all keeping safe in these troubling times with the unpredictable forest fires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing much has changed for us, but they appear to have a handle on the Westside fires at least. – We have had no word from Roy so we have no idea how he was effected in “The Valley of the sun”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bad news is that the hot dry weather will continue for at least another week, so nobody in the fire zone can relax – We look around at our place and try to figure out what we would grab if we need to leave in a hurry – not easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a Dash 8 water bomber – we did not see any of these but obviously they adapt any aircraft they can these days,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving on,- the answer to the last quiz was Triss Sharp on a Francis Barnett, – I remember we had those short stubby header pipes back then, until Brian Stonebridge, who was working for BSA at that time . ( before Greeves) adapted an expansion chamber exhaust, similar to the ones being used on the MZ road racers. -on a BSA Bantam – – viola !!! they gained rocket ship power. – Only Roger Boothroyd got that one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quiz today -Another old one for the ‘pensioner’ class who is the rider and who is watching – (difficult)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking at news from across the pond – They have a big Enduro in Wales this weekend – but like us they are also being hit with record breaking temperatures. – Billy Bolt will be back in action so look to see him up there. ( Yes he used to ride trials)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
