Answer to the last quiz – Fujinami – known in World wide Trials circles as “Fujigas” – mainly because he was always a big throttle guy when riding world Trials. – now he manages the Team Honda Trials crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, I watched the latest edition of the Trial Tube tape on You Tube – and believe it or not, I watched the whole segment – BUT I did not have the sound on – just read the captions. – <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least this tape was better than a lot, and covered a number of subjects quite well, ie: The Highland Classic Trial, and the issues related to World Trials. – The subject of having a paid team of Observers for all the events, the same team for the whole series, split between various Countries. – ( Something that I mentioned a long time ago)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember when they had the “Claiming rule” in MX stateside? it was because the factories always had super light prototype bikes much superior to what a customer could buy at a dealership. – That was good for the sport, and perhaps this might have been a good idea for World Trials, – it would have put Toni on a stock bike, and yes he would likely still have won, but it might have leveled the playing field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have not seen anything on the Ioco Fun Trial yet – maybe somebody can email us with info.?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stage is set for the upcoming Duff “N” Dabs Trial at the Julie\/ Martin – property near Celista – Medals have been ordered, and the sections all pretty much done. – This is always a very popular weekend in the Shuswap, and one we recommend. – ( Yes that poster shows Stan on a Beta 200 Evo)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
