Answer to the last quiz – The engine in the pic is a Puch\/Sachs in a Greeves Pathfinder which I did a Magazine test on in 1970 at Blackfoot Park in Calgary. Harlow was the only one who got it all correct although quite few people guessed the engine. This had huge cooling fins 10″ wide. A few were Imported into Canada with most ending up on Vancouver Island and some were also fitted into the Dalesman Enduro model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is another pic taken of the Greeves on that day back in 1970 – check out the Calgary scene in the background – looks a bit different now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This pic was taken from on top of the ridge above what we might call Yellow Meadow – quite a tough climb the way we came up with a ton of round rocks everywhere. Mike did some research and found these rocks came from the time a volcano erupted and Giant Head mountain was formed at Summerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
