Here are a few pics from the Bilstein World Round – looks like a lot more Natural stuff like the Italian Round – they always did have at least one really BIG hill climb. I remember one year they had a rider revolt because some sections were too tough !! Sorry no idea who took these shots)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As posted the weather is just too hot for us to go out riding at the moment, so on Sunday, it was a case of checking out the Golf from Scotland – it came down to the last hole, for Bob McIntyre to take the win, and yes of course he is Scottish, so a huge deal for the local fans. – Some older bloggers, might remember that name Bob Mac from the 1950’s – a world class Road racer and the first man to lap the Isle of Man TT course at over 100mph – it was in 1957 and yes we were there to witness both the sight and sound of the Gilera 4. – ( Sadly Bob was killed racing at Oulton Park not far from where we lived in the UK) I have no idea if the Golfer is any relation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
