A very moody sky over Swan Lake last night – but no rain. ( Pic out of our kitchen window)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Answer to the last quiz – Yes that is a pic of the old guy on the TRS 125 we special ordered – Dominique took that pic of me up on the top ridge at Summerland. The bike was brilliant. – Brett Clark was first in and mentioned that Mountain sold a couple more of the TRS 125’s. Mike Phillips also got it right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also had a Beta Evo 125 at that time and enjoyed doing a “Shoot out” between them. -No clear winner both brilliant – TRS was lighter and revved more, while the Beta felt very solid and had a bit more torque, plus 6 speed tranny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quiz today- Who is this? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-I took this shot at a Trial we held near Peachland when Hugh Simpson owned the B&B there. – Today they had fire in this area, which was closed to Off Road quite a few years ago, because (so the rumor goes) the local CO wanted to keep it as his own private area for hunting Deer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the weather in Alberta and BC still in a heat wave – there is little chance for any riding, unless you go out really early in the morning. – Remember if you are riding in the bush, you should have a spark arrestor fitted. – We have the ones for Beta and TRS in stock (New style)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s a nice shot I took of Shane and Josef a few years ago up on Bear Ridge – that is Fintry in the background. – We have no idea how that area looks now after the forest fire in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They had huge crowds at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend over 100,000 – including Sammy Miller and Kevin Schwantz – not sure why Kevin has his arm in a sling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
