Well it’s heartbreaking to see these images of areas being devastated by Wild Fires. – The top one is of Jasper where buildings are on fire, including the Petro Can station, where I stopped many times to gas up and have an evening meal. reports say this just exploded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

below is near New Denver and shows the Mountains on fire, which appears like where we went exploring years ago. We hope all our friends in these communities are safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

below is a pic from the Valhalla area near New Denver where we explored the old mining areas years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and another from that same area which is likely now all burned<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is a pic from the Outlaw Trial that we held at Greenstone Mountain near Kamloops a few years ago – it shows a rider on one of the rocky sections surrounded by burnt timber from a big fire that went through that area 7 years previous – Yes it takes a long while for the trees to grow back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With conditions tinder dry all over and no reports of much rain in the forecast, it’s a very stressful time, especially for those who remember the situation last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
