Answer to the Friday quiz – Mick Andrews at Blackfoot Park in Calgary – It was 1974 and Yamaha wanted Mick to do a promotional tour for the new TY 250 – – I hauled a bunch of big rocks from down by the railroad tracks and hand built some sections near the sandpit area. – I remember that Jill – ( Mick’s wife) was concerned that Mick might hurt himself on these !! – Suffice to say that Mick breezed through everything – Obviously this was a great era for Trials in Canada – We held the first ever FIM Canadian World round the following year and Mick and myself became good friends (even though we have not talked for decades) – <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well that was quite a storm we had in the Valley last night!!! hopefully not new fires from all the lightning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update – Just saw a fresh one on Mount Ida by Salmon Arm – lots of damage reported from trees down etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
