Friday was another “Cooker” of a day – and we were quite busy with bikes being picked up, Emily stopped by for her Beta -then later a visit from Jon and his wife from Edson AB, who were out touring the valley on their big KTM street bike. -Jon has bought a couple of TRS Trials bikes from us, and we shared a few stories of UK events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only a few weeks now until the Trial at Martin & Julie’s place in the Shuswap We hope the new fire just reported north of Seymour Arm is jumped on quickly – things are still really dry out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mintex Cup Trial goes this weekend in the UK and a big Trial in Scotland, but with the World Round happening in Spain followed by the TDN many of the top riders may miss these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember when Desert racing was featured in the movie “On Any Sunday?” – what a crazy time that was with hundreds of riders setting off all at once heading for the “Smoke bomb” – I thought the Alberta races in the 70’s were bad enough, with usually 150-170 riders on the line at “Moose Mountain” (see pic below)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
