Below is a great shot of Steve Day, (Scorpa) who won the Expert Class at the CPTA Iron Mountain Trial last Sunday – Don Doerksen reports they had a good turn out of 30 riders for this. ( But only one Junior)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a nice surprise while at the Gas station yesterday, bumping into Emily Roberts folks – they have just moved to Vernon from Ontario, so that will be good for Emily – They are of course the Publishers of the Great Canadian Magazine “Motorcycle Mojo”. They told me things are a tad hectic at the moment with the move, but also they leave next week for a three week trip to Italy doing another Motorcycle joint for the Mag. – Meanwhile our Red haired rascal Emily is off to Texas this weekend for another Bike test. – However she will be back for the Shuswap Trial next weekend, when no doubt she will hook up with Katie and the other gals. – It’s also Emily’s birthday today – so we hope she has a great day to celebrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Motorcycle Mojo Mag features mainly street and Adventure style articles – We would not be surprised to see some future coverage of Trials, as Emily’s Dad now has a Trials bike. – ( Maybe I can get him out for a ride.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also had a visit from Brad from Rossland yesterday – he was on route from a job in Prince Rupert and stopped by for a “Chin wag” and to pick up some parts for his Beta Evo 200. – After chatting and checking out both the new TRS and Beta bikes – I think he will be buying a new one next year. – It was interesting that I was able to give him the names of other Trials riders in his own backyard!!! – As we have often said Trials is a very secret part of Motorcycle sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t forget the Duff ‘n’ Dabs Shuswap trial is only one week away – it will be another one for the books with Martin and Julie hosting a great weekend – It’s also a long weekend, so no need for out of towners to rush back. – and who knows – you might even go home with one of these neat medals!!!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
