A blast from the past – 1971 Alberta Trial – the old guy when he wasn’t quite so old – won this one but fell after the last section and broke my leg!!! ( Note ! No gloves !! snow and rain on the day)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you know that as a young club rider, I rode in Trials that were won by Sammy and also World Road Race Champ Geoff Duke – then in later years rode the 200 Mile Moose Mountain Cross Country that World MX Champ and also winner of the Scottish – Jeff Smith. was on the line. – Hard to believe now looking back at these old memories. ( No they didn’t need to worry about me)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jordi was honored at the last FIM Trial celebrating the 50th anniversary – along with others who have won World Championship events. ( It became World- in 1975 and that first title was won by Martin Lampkin) – Hard to believe that we put on that first one in Canada at a time when the sport was changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
