This young Brit Jamie Keith- just won the 125 class at the MXN – did you know that Yamilube is made by Esso ? and it was me that got the Yamilube stickers on all the Canadian race bikes? – Of course back then we had not heard of Optimol even though it had been around since 1920.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is a pic of Mick promoting Duckhams oil – it used be popular in the UK and we even had it in Canada for a while. – I remember using it in my Bultaco in the 70’s<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This coming Saturday is the Famous Scott Time Trial in Yorkshire – this has only been won 4times by two riders Sammy Miller and Graham Jarvis – Will another name join this record in 2024?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many years ago I rode two tough – different Time Trials in the UK – the Lecruddy Struggle in Wales where I got a 2nd class award – then the Picton Time Trial (won by World Champ Geoff Duke) where I was on a team that finished 3rd but no idea where I was in the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later I started the Scott Trial in Alberta in 1972 – I was lucky enough to win this twice – in 1974 then 1976. – <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A nice shot I got of Sammy at a Victoria Club Trial a few years ago when we sponsored him on Beta and Wulf gear etc. The club house in the background later burned down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are posting this pic because it shows our two favorite bikes – The TRS with estart and the Beta Evo 200 – easy to start and easy to ride and therefore easy to enjoy. – The TRS on display has the Xtrack kit fitted with larger fuel tank and seat – all easily removed in about 15-20 minutes to be replaced with the stock tank – it’s 2 bikes in “1”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
