We are happy to post this – Roger Boothroyd has been a mainstay of the VMC for decades, both as a rider, promotor and a regular committee member putting out the club newsletter for years – nice to see him recognized in the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Birthday Greetings today to Wendy Mckay – a nice pic with Harry at the Costa Brava. as mentioned Harry did really well finishing 13th in a class of 173 riders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a shot from Bear Ridge on a nice November day many years ago – (bike is a Beta rev) We out that day with Kevin Elbury – another OK rider who appears to have dropped out of sight. -Kevin took this pic. – This used to be a favorite riding area for us, but has since been closed off due to a fire started by a homeless person. Look at that view down the Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As most of our bloggers know, we have been around the motorcycle industry for a very long time and to quote Red Deer dealer Glen Turple – “We have seen them come- and we’ve seen them go” – perhaps a good time for this, in view of the current KTM \/GasGas Fiasco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
