I think we may still have some blue stuff in stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ================================<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here’s a weird Montesa design from the 1980’s – not surprised it didn’t catch on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ==========================================<\/p>\n\n\n\n Last night I clicked onto the 2024 Pre 65 Scottish Two Day, an event started by Sammy Miller, and named because it was in 1965 that Sammy joined the Bultaco factory, and Trials changed forever. – The days of the big bikes were numbered, but with still an awful lot of people keen on the big 4 strokes and the British lightweight Villiers engine bikes – Sammy started what has become a huge and popular event, which now is always oversubscribed. – In fact I think it would be correct to say that Sammy once again can take credit for – re-inventing vintage trials. – as I watched the video, I was amazed at how many Triumph twins were competing – back in the 50’s only the big British singles were thought to be competitive having lots of low end torque. .
