Not that this is Trials, but while many of the younger folk might think it was the Japanese or Italians who invented 4 cylinder engines, take a look at this 1936  AJS &#8211; not only brilliant, but very reliable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"523\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1936-AJS-V4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1936-AJS-V4.jpg 523w, https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1936-AJS-V4-262x300.jpg 262w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 523px) 100vw, 523px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>=======================================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was at the Scottish in 1992 a VERY wet week &#8211; I remember standing on the right side near the checker !!! Likely have pics from that spot.
