Answer to the last quiz – Paul, from Calgary – Outlaw Dave, Bob Clark, Brett Clark, Ted Pepperdine – at Summerland after the Vintage Outlaw Trial – Brett got most correct. – That was the year when it all came down to the last section – The big Shale Climb – Bob and myself were both on Ossa – I went up first using 2nd gear and lots of momentum, but on the last tricky turn before the steps at the top – my bike bogged and I had to scramble out for a “2” – Bob, waiting at the bottom of the hill, heard my bike falter, and chose 1st gear, cleaning the section and beating me by two points!! A great day. – – ( Bob says he still has that shirt)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
