Sunday October 15th 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Saturday we were over on the Westside of the Lake for a visit with Roy, and a chance to get out for a ride – We welcomed the few drops of early morning rain, which while it didn’t last long – made us appreciate just how much we need this for the Forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glad to say it did not last, although to be honest, we would not have really minded one bit. Once again I was out on my favorite Estart TRS 250 while Roy chugged along on the Evo 250 which we sold him a number of years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no doubt in my mind that the Fall weather is the absolute best for riding in the woods – the bright colors of the trees and a wonderful aroma in the air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stopped a number of times to take pics and just enjoy our surroundings, before heading back to Roy’s place in The Valley of The Sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As many will now know, the Scott Trial over in Yorkshire England is now in the history books and as always a real toughie – The winner for 2nd year in a row was Jack Price ( Vertigo) . – Ontario rider Jon English made the trip over and reported to Stan that it was the toughest event he had ever been in and after five hours of slogging – he was cut off as being out of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today there is a Trial at Ioco and Stan emailed to say he was going plus I’m sure Katie will be down there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
