Here is pic of buddy Guy Laycraft going upstream in a Moose Mountain River – a familiar hazard for the old timers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We did the Moose race a few times with success in 1973 and 1976 getting 3rd open at both and 6th overall out of 170 starters. – Yes those were really tough events. – In 1973 I was on a Bultaco Sherpa T 325 Trials bike – in 1976 I rode the new Yamaha IT 400 ( That was a 2 day – 100 miles per day jaunt) – Neat Trophies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
