{"id":808,"date":"2023-12-06T08:38:57","date_gmt":"2023-12-06T15:38:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/?p=808"},"modified":"2023-12-06T10:55:51","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T17:55:51","slug":"wednesday-december-6th-23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/2023\/12\/06\/wednesday-december-6th-23\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday December 6th\/23"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yesterday we mentioned that Jordi and TRS will be doing more promoting for the young kids in 2024 &#8211; and this poster put out by Yamaha back in the 1970&#8217;s &#8211; really proved that the Japanese Factory were listening  back then &#8211; there is no doubt that a whole new generation of Trials riders got their first taste of Trials on the TY 80 &#8211; I remember chatting to Mick Andrews about this approach &#8211; Yamaha a family affair !!  TY 250 for Dad- TY 175 for Mom and  TY 80 for junior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We firmly believe that this idea is the way for future success both with Family enjoyment and Trials bike sales. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"455\" height=\"620\" src=\"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Yamaha-TY-80-pposter.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-810\" srcset=\"https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Yamaha-TY-80-pposter.jpg 455w, https:\/\/outlawtrials.com\/davesblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Yamaha-TY-80-pposter-220x300.jpg 220w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 455px) 100vw, 455px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>===================================.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other &#8220;Old fashioned&#8221; thing we had back in the day ( After the weekly Motorcycle papers)  was in the UK the Junior Kickstart TV Trials &#8211; then everybody was watching VHS videos put out either for training or a way to watch big Trials events over the winter on your TV. &#8211; I would like to mention that while we do now enjoy a lot of Hi-tech coverage on You Tube etc &#8211; perhaps the best clips to watch are put out by Danny Butler and Trial Tube.
