Answer to the Monday quiz – Bob Todosychuk riding the 125 Hodaka at the Summerland Outlaw Trial many years ago – Bobby is still the only rider to clean the Shale Climb on a 125. ( Need to try that on my TRS 125)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Correct guess’s from Brett and Neil Carter. – they both even spelled Bob’s name correctly.!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jon English is in 146th spot with a loss of 61 points. and could come home with a sun burn after the hot first day – Maybe he should have put a cap in his backpack? ( Yes it’s amazing to see some of those scores) Remember young Dan Hemingway came close to winning last year on a Beta 125. – now he is old enough to ride a big bore on Scottish roads!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking at these videos- low scores and all the other aspects that surround the Scottish – reminds me of why I ever got into the sport and you know why ? it was because I saw a rider zipping up a creek covered in mud on a DOT. !! – There is no glamour or high dollar reward for riding Trials – so why do it? – Well the answer is that for most people who do not wish for high speed stuff – but like motorcycles – Trials was always a great way to get into competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
