Answer to the 2nd quiz yesterday – that was Sammy Miller taking a dive (and a five) at Waterworks Corner in the Isle of Man – He was unhurt. – As older bloggers will know Sammy was a World Class Road racer, before he quit to concentrate on Trials full time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pete Varey and Brett both got that one – The other group shot up on Joss Mountain had quite a few that I can’t even remember -that was sure a crappy day up top – a few I can recall, are Steve Fracy – Banjo Bobby, Taff, Bob Clark, Stan, Paul Gronow and a few others ( I’m standing in the centre)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week is of course all about the ISDE in Italy – with lots of video coverage – nice to see this as modern electronics bring events into our front room. – As you saw in the results yesterday – Team Italy are looking strong in the Trophy, as are France, Australia and Spain, with the Yanks not far back. – We watched the MX test on You Tube yesterday and it looked to be a great track, with ideal conditions. You can also see updates on our Cannucks, who seem to be struggling a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We heard back from Stan to say the Yale fire is on the other side of the Fraser river, and about 10miles from his place – so all good at the moment, but with everything so dry and the long weekend ahead – things could still get tricky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
