With the Scottish Six Day Trial now heading into Day #4 - James Dabill (Beta)  leads - having now just dropped one point on Wednesday. - Dougie Lampkin is still in 2nd spot, but is now on 4 points after having some mechanical issues with the Vertigo - in fact there is talk that his week might be over.

The best performance on a very wet Wednesday, was Welsh lad Iwan Roberts,(TRS) who had the only clean ride of the day, truly amazing when you consider how sick he has been recently.

Gary MacDonald ( Scorpa) holds onto 3rd as the riders head into the last half of the week - Dennis Sweeten has lost 121 points and daughter Kylee 205 points. -  for full results click onto the ssdt website.

The weather in Fort William this morning was cloudy, but no rain as yet - on the other hand, in Vernon BC, it was once again hammering down at 4 am.

The Thursday route at the Scottish, is usually one of the toughest of the week, with the soggy moor crossings taking their toll on both riders and machines. - Tonight we may see some changes at the top of the leader board - so good luck to everybody.
Some sad news to report today, as former 5 time World MX Champion Eric Geboers drowned over the weekend, while trying to save a dog - he was only 55 years old. - the dog survived by swimming to shore.
He is pictured here at the Canadian MX Grand Prix.
