Answer to the Thursday quiz – Malcolm Smith – who was born on Salt Spring Island BC – Malcolm is seen modeling the mirror peak that he used in the Elsnore Grand Prix -made popular in the movie “On Any Sunday” – lots of people bought them for Cross Country racing, only to find they didn’t work at all – Yes I was one. – Harlow was first in but soon followed by Brett and David Brooks – Neil Carter and others.

Lots of comments on the latest FIM post about changing to stop allowed at World Trials. – One of the best comments was on face book by Lane Leavitt – Although Lane has perhaps been chastised in the past for “Saying it as it is” – I think he nails this subject pretty good.

Here is an old copy of a Magazine article which mentions that Mick Andrews was awarded the Pinhard Trophy – the one young Jack Galloway now has his name on. – Great History.
