Answer to the Thursday quiz – Harold Pospisil long time Prez of the ATRA. – First in with the correct answer was Jay Colley – followed pretty quick by Harold himself – who also remembered where I took this pic of him – Indian Graves – Stan posted later also with the correct answer, plus he noticed Heather Wall in the pic and Paul from Bragg creek – Chris Tronnes is on the left side – looks like he’s checking for mushrooms!! a great Trial put on by Chris Wilson. Brett and Harlow both guessed Harold. – Only Roger Boothroyd guessed the Welsh Special day. ( Lover’s Day)

Who is this rider ??

I see the FIM have just posted the info on this years World Round Championship Series – But with just one event outside Europe – can this really be called a “World” championship?

Another thing I don’t understand is why the famous Dakar race, which is now held in South America, is still called “The Dakar” – Seems a bit like holding the Scottish Six Days in Wales !!!!

And #3 on my bitch list – Why is it that the Europeans insist on calling a Trial a “race” ???

Here is an interesting pic – It shows the first Yamaha TY Prototype, that was campaigned by Frenchman Christian Sayer, before Mick came on board. It started out using a modified DT 360 engine. – Mick also tested a Prototype with a XT 500 4 stroke engine – but that got shelved.
