The Motorcycle Mojo booth at the Edmonton bike show – Emily looking a bit tired and no wonder , – I know only too well what it takes to do shows from one end of the Country to the other !!
Unfortunately a lot of people are posting that these shows are disappointing and a waste of money – I recall back in my Yamaha days, one of the organizers stopped by to chat, asked what I thought of the show -after all we had been doing this “same old” stuff for a lot of years. – I told him that they needed to put some special reason for attracting visitors – not “Same old-same old” – – I know that Yamaha listened at least, and brought Bob Hannah and Broc Glover to the next one – that was popular. – As I see it, there has to be a a good reason for spending money to walk around especially when these days, most new models are already on the dealers floor early the previous year.

And here is the bike that ended the British bike dominance in Trials – Sammy Miller’s 1965 Bultaco Sherpa T ( remember the radial cylinder head?) After that everybody wanted a Bultaco.
