The Italian World Round was likely one of the best for quite some time, perhaps because of the natural terrain – with more traditional style sections – all this made for a more interesting “Spectator” event – this is a pic of the gallery with some 6,000 people in attendance.
Of course most of these fans were rooting for their favorite – Matteo Grattarola (Beta) who always does well on home terrain !! – Thanks to whoever took these pics. Some people get a bit picky about you posting their photos !! We try to keep everybody happy, and allow unlimited use of any of our stuff – All for the good of the sport.

We watched quite a lot of the US Open Golf over the weekend – had to feel for Rory McIlroy – who lost about 2 million dollars by missing a short “Put” on the final hole. ( He only ended up winning about 2 million) The winner took home over 4 million!!! – No wonder Mart Lampkin always wanted son Dougie to take up Golf!!

Answer to the last quiz – The rider is Malcolm Rathmell – pic taken By Jamie McGregor at the 1975 FIM World Round we put on near Bragg Creek Alberta. – A time when we had no issues riding in Creeks or Rivers and had full support from the Alberta Forest Service.. Nobody got this ( I guess Jamie didn’t click on) – Brett thought it was Chris Tronnes, but I think Chris was too young to be riding back then. – Pete Varey got it later.

We had a nice visit with Katie yesterday and caught up on all her news -the BIG news was that this weekend, she will be in Tennessee riding the NATC round, along with Christie Williams ana Jackilyn . – Must say I have to admire the ambition and dedication our BC gals have showed this past year. – Katie will ride a Beta 250 supplied by Beta USA. We wish all the gals lots of luck.

Happening this coming weekend – Yes as usual we have supplied some prizes, but don’t usually attend as it all about enduro and the 11km gravel road in to the start area is not my favorite.

Wow! that was quite a storm we had yesterday – it’s been quite a while since we have seen so much rain – the large water barrel outside got filled to the brim!!
