Answer to the Sunday quiz – Donald Sutherland (rip) who rode this 125cc Royal Enfield in the movie “The Eagle has landed” – the bike was called the Flying Flea because it was dropped with Paratroopers in World War 2. – I had one of these given to me by Walt Healy many years ago, but foolishly donated it to somebody for their collection.
Brett got the person as did Stan and Roger Boothroyd – nobody knew what the bike was – maybe they will take a close look if they ever watch that movie again. – Stan mentioned that his Sister has a birthday today, not sure of her age, but she is three years older than Stan ( and he is 63)!!!!!!
