Answer to the quiz – Our red headed rascal Emily Roberts – who is always on the go working for Motorcycle Mojo Mag plus on TV Motorcycle programs, and testing various bikes – but also has her own bikes including a Beta Evo 200 and a Beta RR 200 – she is all over the place and was recently on tour in Iceland, but has also been to Morocco and other exotic places. Yesterday we posted a pic of our old buddy Murray Nutt who is not in the best of health, and I found this pic which I took of him in 1970 at Blackfoot Park when the Calgary Club hosted the Western Canadian Championship trial – a bunch of the hot shots from the West Coast showed up, but Murray beat them all. – Later like many of us from that era – Murray raced Cross Country and was always at the head of the pack.

Another “Blast from the past” – John Whitby took this of me at a 1971 Trial in Alberta – when the weather was pretty ugly rain & snow – I won the Trial, but fell coming down from the last section and broke my leg!!! ( This put me out of action for three months)

There was a car show at 100 mile house this past weekend which our daughter and son in law attended with a pretty nice old car – they won an award as well. – It reminded me that Bob Work had us put on a Trials demo at that venue a few years ago, and it seems they now have a memorial trophy presented in his name – Bo had a home just outside 100 Mile and we stayed with him a couple of times after our Yamaha days. – Here we are at the Edmonton Hall of Fame when Bo and Steve Baker were inducted.
