Well Labour day was for me just that – working on Emily’s Beta Evo 200. – just general stuff, but it took a lot of time. -( The old guy isn’t used to this these days, but with my mechanic away on hols – things are backing up.) – shop is quite full at the moment, but at least it wasn’t too hot.

While we had cool weather in the Valley yesterday – with warnings of late Thunder storms – this was the view from our kitchen window around 7pm last night, looking across Swan Lake.

Here’s one for the road race fans – Bill Lomas (Guzzi V8) and Geoff Duke ( Gilera) – at the Isle of Man, before the “Dustbin” fairings were banned, because of the danger from cross winds !! We were lucky to see both these racers, and as I’ve mentioned before, both Lomas and Duke were accomplished Trials riders.
