The Social media is full of the KTM story, lots of reports on who is to blame etc – all of which will continue into the new year, we can only hope that the riders get paid before all the contracts get tossed.
From our perspective, we think we will see the ripple effect of this for at least a year or more, as the huge unsold inventory gets dumped.
The Trials market, being very small, will survive, but there is an old saying that if people do not learn from their mistakes, they will repeat them. – ( KTM went into receivership once before)

We were lucky to escape any big dumps of snow over the weekend, and I’m sure some of the younger set got out for a ride. – The VMC still have one more trial scheduled for this month.

We have mentioned before how riders in the UK after World War Two , would ride all types of competition, before the era of specialization . We were fortunate to witness many changes including the “Dustbin fairing” days, before the enclosed front wheels were banned due to accidents caused by side winds. Check out this line up. I saw quite a few of those riders in the Isle of Man.
