It’s hard to believe that we are half way through the month of January with very little snow down low in our Valley – Obviously we need it up on the mountains, and yes they do have lots on the Ski Hills.

And because we don’t much news – I thought I would post this nice pic of a De Haviland Tiger Moth – used as a trainer for RAF pilots at the start of World War 2. – This was also the very first aircraft, that I ever flew in as a schoolboy although that model was called the Fox Moth and had a small cabin built between the wings. – We took off from the beach at Southport with a guy who was giving “Joy rides” – he later crashed the plane but escaped injury.
