Ryon Land has signed for Sherco USA after being on a Vertigo – he certainly has a lot of promise and will contest the Trial 2 Series this year in Europe.

With the weather being very mild in the Valley so far this winter, we are a bit surprised we have not heard of more riders getting out on the bikes – I know back in the day, Barry and myself were out most Sundays during the winter, unless the temperature was -20. This is me up on Bear Ridge.
This weekend will see the Dougie Lampkin Indoor Trial at Sheffield – he puts a big effort with his crew on this and has most of the top riders, plus local lad Harry Hemingway, we will watch for the coverage.

As many know, we have had our issues with the Computer for some time, all very frustrating – had to call Rogers today and got the message “Thankyou for calling etc” – if you want service in English press “1 – – then got to talk to a very nice lady who I had a really hard time understanding not sure where she was from – but a really strange accent – finally told her to send me an email, as I could not make sense of what she was saying – we sure are living in a strange World.

Below is a great shot of born again Trials rider Myles Manna, one of our good riders in the Kelowna area many years ago – Myles moved to the Island so we lost touch, but he recently contacted me as he had picked up this nice TRS from Dave Fair, and is enjoying every minute of it riding with the lads up Island.

And finally today – We had some sad news from the UK, that our brother Doug ( far right) passed away last Saturday – This pic shows my Dad, brother Don (rip) myself and Doug. – looking quite sharp at our sisters wedding many years ago. – Doug did have a street bike for a short time, but was not into competition like myself and my other brother Don. We had not seen any of the family since 2003 when we went back to the UK for Mum’s funeral.
