We forgot to mention yesterday in our story of all the updates in Trials machinery about the fact that a lot of the updates were brought about by Government policy. – For example the fiber glass gas tanks on the Trials bikes were banned in the UK because somebody fell in the UK on the road in between sections and the bike went on fire.
Also the bad decision by the FIM to force factories to go all 4 stroke – was later reversed, but environmental concerns have long been the reason for the banning of two-cycle engines – hence the new push for fuel injection. – ( maybe the government officials have not heard of lean mix oils like Optimol !!!! – available on the market from Outlaw Accessories, since 1987) but manufactured in Germany since 1920.
We posted this pic awhile back, but we did not tell you that this demo TRS 125 has now got this many hours on it – still got over 145lbs compression and always run on Opti 2 at 80-1 – we took the hour meter off when we took it back in trade.
